UPDATE: The semitrailer has been removed and the ramp reopened as of 7:10 p.m.
Subscribe to our NewslettersThe entrance ramp from the Gene Snyder Freeway heading south to Interstate 71 North is shut down because of a flipped-over truck.
The semitruck collided with something shortly after midday on the incline, as reported by TRIMARC.
The entrance is entirely obstructed, thus motorists must seek another path.
Teams have arrived at the location attempting to contain the liquids that have leaked onto the roadway and plan to bring in a tow truck to lift the semi-truck back onto its wheels and clear it from the area.
One should anticipate delays in the interim.
An alternate route could involve staying on the Gene Snyder Freeway, proceeding past the closed I-71 North exit at Interstate 265, taking the Brownsboro Road exit, and subsequently rejoining the Gene Snyder northbound to reach I-71 North.
The truck was the sole vehicle involved in the accident, and currently, there have been no reports of injuries.
