An excellent beginning for my day as my initial trio of words provided me with five letters split across two columns.
Conversely, the remaining two columns provided fewer insights — one contained only two letters, while the other had merely the single letter 'O'.
I wasn't entirely bewildered: the lack of any other vowels and the O being in the incorrect second position led me to believe I was searching for a double-o word, which turned out to be BROOK.
VISOR was more difficult to obtain; I assumed BISON before finally getting it right, though I was at least heading in the correct direction.
