Frontline Cars has launched the MGA Factory Edition, which will be unveiled at the upcoming Goodwood Members' Meeting later this month. This version is notably stylish. retromod brimming with vintage appeal.

Offered both as a coupe and convertible, the MGA Factory Edition draws inspiration from meticulously refurbished vehicles of the '50s era. They receive "minor external modifications" including contemporary LED headlamps and new 15-inch wire wheels. Additionally, customers have the option to choose supplementary "Dunlop-styled" alloy rims which decrease unsprung weight and enhance maneuverability.

The inside can be tailored to your preferences and features vintage Smiths instruments. These are complemented by useful door compartments and a contemporary sound system equipped with a concealed control unit. It maintains the traditional appearance while offering a modern audio configuration including dual speakers, twin tweeters, an amp, and Bluetooth capability.

A variety of features are offered such as power windows and heated front seats. Additionally, customers have the option to add air conditioning and a wireless phone charger.

Beneath the surface lies a 2.0-liter Duratec engine capable of generating 225 horsepower (168 kW / 228 PS) and 178 pound-feet (241 Nm) of torque. This powerplant is linked to a transmission system. Mazda -derived five-speed manual gearbox allows the vehicle weighing 1,797 lbs (815 kg) to go from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 96 km/h) in just 4.8 seconds, with a maximum velocity capped at 155 mph (250 km/h).

Customers have the option to choose a 2.5-liter engine delivering 290 horsepower (216 kW / 294 PS) and providing 243 pound-feet (330 Nm) of torque. This change quickens the acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 96 km/h) to just 4.1 seconds; however, the maximum speed stays the same.

When discussing performance, the vehicle replaces the leaf springs with a completely adjustable five-link rear suspension. Customers can expect features such as electric power steering, a limited-slip differential, and an advanced brake system equipped with both two-piston and four-piston calipers.

The MGA Factory Edition will come with both right- and left-hand drive options. It is now taking orders, with deliveries expected to start in the summer of 2026.
