EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah ( ABC4 )— The residents of Eagle Mountain will shortly gain new shopping opportunities with the imminent opening of a Walmart Supercenter.
The upcoming Supercenter will be situated at the intersection of SR-73 and Spring Run Parkway. Although specific dates were not disclosed, the establishment plans to launch sometime in "late summer" 2025, accompanied by a grand opening event.
The upcoming Supercenter will feature complete grocery options along with departments for clothing, toys, home goods, and electronics, plus a gas station and services for online ordering and curbside pickup. Authorities claim that upon completion, this store will generate 300 new job opportunities in the Eagle Mountain region.

The establishment of Walmart here will offer easy access to products and services for our community members as well as generate employment opportunities and boost our local economy.
The upcoming Walmart will feature associated development work on adjacent roads as well. Authorities mentioned that this construction entails adding double left-turn lanes leading into the Walmart zone from Spring Run Parkway. Additionally, improvements to Ranches Parkway aim to facilitate smoother north-to-south vehicular movement and ensure better accessibility to Campus Drive.
It is anticipated that Walmart will start recruiting to staff the newly opened sites in May.
