Volvo is introducing a limited-edition electric SUV in South Korea called the EX30 Moss Yellow Edition. Just 30 vehicles will be produced, with designs drawing inspiration from Arctic moss found in northern Sweden.
Volvo Cars Korea has declared that they will make the exclusive EX30 model accessible via their online store following a first-come, first-served policy beginning at 10 A.M. on April 17th. This particular offering marks the company’s inaugural limited-edition launch for the current year with just thirty units up for grabs within South Korea.
Volvo's EX30, their initial foray into the small electric SUV segment, emerged as a leading model in Europe’s upscale electric vehicle marketplace during 2024.
Nordic-Inspired Moss-Green SUV Drawn from Natural Beauty
The Moss Yellow Edition embodies the spirit of Scandinavian landscapes by blending natural hues and materials into the SUV’s styling.
The Moss Yellow exterior hue draws inspiration from arctic moss growing among Swedish stones, lending the EX30 its characteristic coloring.
The interiors draw inspiration from pine forests and incorporate elements like natural flax fibers, a mix of reclaimed wool and polyester materials, along with a pine oil-derived substance known as Nordico, resulting in an exclusive and environmentally friendly ambiance.
Upscale ' Ultra' Cut at No Additional Cost
This version is built around the EX30's highest-end Ultra configuration. It comes equipped with upscale amenities like a stationary panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seating with driver memory settings, a 360-degree view camera, and an enhanced park-assist feature.
It includes Harman Kardon premium sound and advanced high-efficiency air purifiers. The price stays the same as the regular EX30 model at 51.83 million KRW ($39,000 approximately), following eco-friendly tax breaks but excluding extra subsidies.
Purchasers will get a special welcome kit. The warranty covers 5 years or 100,000 kilometers for regular components and 8 years or 160,000 kilometers for high-voltage batteries.
Furthermore, purchasers will be entitled to 15 years of free over-the-air (OTA) software upgrades along with a five-year complimentary 5G digital services bundle.
Scheduled public launch for 'Volvo Ladies Salon' revealed
The EX30 Moss Yellow Edition will make its first appearance on April 15 at the Volvo Ladies Salon held at the FEZH cultural center in Seoul’s Hannam-dong neighborhood.
Lee Yun Mo, CEO of Volvo Cars Korea, mentioned that this first edition is tailored for sophisticated customers. They aim to provide an opportunity for these consumers to truly grasp the heart of Scandinavian design with this outstanding SUV.
