KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) — Following an accident at the Crossroads, a moped rider was rushed to the hospital in serious condition on Wednesday.
The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of E. 20th Street and South Grand Avenue.
An initial inquiry conducted by the police department of Kansas City, Missouri revealed that a gold minivan was heading west on 20th Street toward Grand Avenue. When the van made a left turn going north, it was struck by the rider of a Yamaha scooter.
The investigation into the crash is still being conducted by KCPD.
