Part of Mitchell Road in Cape Elizabeth was shut down on Tuesday afternoon because of an accident.
The Cape Elizabeth Police Department stated on social media at 6 p.m. Mitchell Road was blocked off between Cheverus Road and Oakhurst Road because of an accident.
On Wednesday morning, authorities reported that the roadway had been reopened.
Sergeant Jeffrey Gaudette from the Cape Elizabeth Police Department informed NEWS CENTER Maine that the incident involved a pickup truck. According to him, nobody was hurt.
