
China-based manufacturer Xpeng has debuted in the Polish market with the release of three electric vehicles: the G9 SUV, the G6 coupé SUV, and the P7 sedan.
The kickoff event, which took place at Warsaw's MOXO club, is a component of the firm's plan to expand within Europe.
Each of its three sophisticated electric vehicles has earned aEuro NCAP 5-star safety rating.
The Xpeng New Market Development Department head, Deniz Mei, stated : We are delighted to introduce Xpeng to the Polish market. Our cars establish a new benchmark for electric mobility through their blend of innovation, performance, and cutting-edge technology. We are confident that Polish consumers will embrace our outlook on the future of travel.
With more than twenty years of expertise in the Polish automobile sector, Inchcape has been named the sole distributor for Xpeng in Poland.
Witold Wcisło, the managing director of Inchcape Poland, stated, "The introduction of Xpeng in Poland marks an important milestone for the country’s electric mobility sector. We are enthusiastic about being part of this progression with Inchcape Poland as we bring state-of-the-art electric cars to our clients."
The initial showroom in Warsaw has begun operations, and expansion to further sites is scheduled for April 2025.
Along with its range of electric vehicles (EVs), Xpeng introduced the cutting-edge eVTOL Xpeng X2 at the unveiling ceremony, expanding their offerings from intelligent EVs to airborne automobiles.
At the unveiling event, Xpeng introduced advanced technological developments such as SEPA 2.0 (Smart Electric Platform Architecture) and CIB.
The SEPA 2.0 electric vehicle development framework aims to provide improved efficiency, lower software adaptation expenses, and 800V rapid charging capability that can add 120 kilometers of range in just five minutes.
CIB technology embeds the battery within the car’s structural frame, boosting chassis stiffness, maximizing cabin area, and cutting down the overall vehicle mass.
Xpeng cars feature interiors adorned with high-quality materials and an advanced system driven by NVIDIA Orin X chips.
Additionally, Xpeng provides a comprehensive seven-year warranty, complimentary over-the-air updates, and remarkable electric range capabilities.
The Xpeng P7 boasts a range of 576 kilometers, whereas the G9 and G6 variants provide as much as 570 kilometers per full charge, based on WLTP standards.
The Xpeng P7 AWD version produces 473 horsepower, whereas the G9 Performance AWD model offers 551 horsepower.
The G6 smart Coupe SUV closely follows, offering up to 476 horsepower.
These cars provide quick acceleration, with the P7 hitting 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, the G9 doing so in 3.9 seconds, and the G6 achieving it in 4.0 seconds.
Also, Xpeng aims to launch XP Supercharging stations this year in Hong Kong.
