An accident occurred in Scott County on Monday afternoon resulting in the death of a 78-year-old woman from Jordan.
The incident occurred in Jordan, where Highways 169 and 282 meet, as reported by the Minnesota State Patrol.
Shortly before 1 p.m., authorities stated that the operator of a Subaru Outback traveling westbound on 282 ran into an intersection where they were hit by a Peterbilt truck-trailer moving south on 169.
The motorist driving the Subaru passed away due to the accident, according to the State Patrol. Her identity hasn't been released yet.
