
The Soledad police requested that people stay away from a part of the city on Wednesday as they looked into an incident where a person was struck by a car.
The area of Metz Road and Cabernet Drive was asked to be avoided due to the police activity. Police say they were notified of the incident at around 3:30 p.m.
Subscribe to our NewslettersPolice report that an 8-year-old girl was struck by a car after she entered the incoming traffic.
"Precautionary measures led to the request of an air ambulance. The landing site was set up at the field close to Hartnell College. We appreciate everyone’s assistance and urge you to keep this space open for emergency responders," stated the police in a social media update.
